Paris2024 Olympic Games
1924-2024
It is between 5 and 27 July 1924 that took place in Paris the last Olympic Games, France had then won 38 medals, including 13 gold and had finished third on the podium, behind Finland and the United States, first.
One hundred years on, the Olympic Games are back, and they'll be held in Paris once again, from July 26 to August 11, 2024!
The Paralympic Games will take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
It was on September 13, 2017 that France was awarded the organization of these games.
This unique experience will be the biggest event ever organized in France!
During these games, France will be more than ever at the Center of the World.
For the first time, an Olympic Games opening ceremony will take place outside a stadium. For the first time, a river will be the main backdrop, and it's shaping up to be a truly grandiose event, with a course down the Seine and the athletes arriving by boat!
