General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use
This web site is operated by Ettore RIVA Productions.
Throughout the site, we use the terms "we", "us" and "our" to refer to Ettore RIVA Productions. This website, including all information, tools and services available from it, is offered by Ettore RIVA Productions to you, the user, conditioned on your acceptance of all the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated herein.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
SECTION 1A - CONDITIONS OF USE of our online SHOP
You must not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose or violate any laws in your jurisdiction when using the Service (including, without limitation, copyright laws).
You may not transmit any worms, viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in immediate termination of your Services.
SECTION 1B - CONDITIONS OF USE of our SERVICES
By booking a service with Paris Boat Club, customers expressly declare that they are aware that the services provided by Paris Boat Club are cruises on the Seine and accept without reservation these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use.
Paris Boat Club benefits from the legal guarantees required for contracts for the transport of people on the Seine and has taken out the necessary insurance for its activity.
Reservation / Payment
Reservations can be made either via the website https://parisboatclub.fr or via a partner approved by Paris Boat Club.
To be effective, the reservation must be accompanied by the payment of the total amount of the service.
Upon receipt of payment, customers receive an email confirmation of the reservation with the date and time slot of the service and the number of people.
THE COST OF THE CRUISE INCLUDES the pick-up or boarding of the passengers at the Port of Call (or in another port of call defined in advance with the client depending on availability) and the return to the same place.
The cost of the cruise includes the provision of the boat during the defined duration of the cruise, the driving of the boat by a skipper of Paris Boat Club, the fuel.
THE COST OF THE CRUISE DOES NOT INCLUDE :
- Transportation to and from the point of embarkation or disembarkation, parking fees or any other fees related to the client's travel before and after the cruise.
Cancellation / Postponement of a cruise
AT THE CUSTOMER'S INITIATIVE
Clients can postpone the cruise until 48 hours before the start of the cruise. The day chosen to postpone the cruise will then depend on the availability of the boat. The postponement can be made within the current year.
Clients may cancel a cruise under the following conditions and cancellation fees:
- Cancellation more than 72 hours (3 days) before the departure of the cruise: the amounts paid are fully refunded.
- Cancellation less than 72 hours (3 days) before the departure of the cruise: the sums paid are refunded with a deduction of the stopover and cancellation fees corresponding to 40% of the total amount paid.
AT THE INITIATIVE OF PARIS BOAT CLUB
In the case of a cancellation of the cruise by Paris Boat Club, an alternative date will be proposed to customers. If the alternative date does not correspond to the availability of the customers, the company will refund the totality of the price already paid.
Cruises are subject to the navigation rules in force by the competent authorities. Paris Boat Club reserves the right to decide whether or not to allow sailing.
The cruises may therefore be cancelled or modified at any time, from the time of booking, including the day scheduled for departure, in application of the aforementioned rules, or in the event of bad weather that could jeopardize the safety of the persons transported.
Paris Boat Club reserves the right to cancel in case of mechanical damage and unpaid bills.
Any interruption in the course of the cruise or hasty return by the will of the customers will not give rise to any refund.
Customers are held responsible for any loss or breakage caused by themselves during the cruise, and it is then the customers' responsibility to replace or reimburse the lost or broken item belonging to Paris Boat Club.
Booking a cruise implies that clients are in good general health and can participate in this type of service.
The Paris Boat Club is not responsible for the loss of any object that has fallen into the water or for the degradation of any object brought on board by the customers.
All claims must be made in writing (letter with acknowledgment of receipt) to the company's address. Customer requests must be received by Paris Boat Club within 15 days of the date of the service.
To be noted
- It is imperative that customers arrive between 5 and 15 minutes before departure, boarding.
- Any delay on the part of the clients will be deducted from the time of the cruise.
- Minors on board are under the responsibility of the adults accompanying them.
- Pets are allowed on board.
- No more than 9 passengers (including children) plus crew may be admitted on board.
SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time and for any reason.
You understand that your content (except for your credit card information) may be transferred without encryption and that this includes (a) transmissions over multiple networks; and (b) changes made in order to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Your credit card information is always encrypted when transferred across networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, any use of or access to the Service, or any contact on the website through which the Service is provided, without our express written permission.
The headings used in this Agreement are included for convenience only and shall not limit or affect these Terms.
SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We cannot be held responsible if the information provided on this site is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. The content of this site is provided for general information purposes only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting greater, more accurate, more complete or more current sources of information. If you rely on the content of this site, you do so at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. By definition, historical information is not current and is provided for reference purposes only. We reserve the right to make changes to the contents of this site at any time, but we are under no obligation to update any of the information contained herein. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice.
We will not be liable to you or any third party for any change in prices, or any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Some products or services may only be available online through the website. Quantities of these products or services may be limited and their return or exchange is strictly subject to our Return Policy.
We have made every effort to present as accurately as possible the colors and images of the products shown on the Store. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colors displayed on your computer screen.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sale of our products or Services to any particular person, geographic area or jurisdiction. We reserve the right to exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of products or services we offer. All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time, without notice and at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer of products or services on this site is void where prohibited by law.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information or other materials purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or on the same customer account, the same credit card and/or orders using the same billing and/or shipping address. If we change or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting you using the email address and/or billing address or phone number provided at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that we believe may have been placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made from our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you if necessary.

Any use by you of the Optional Tools offered through the Site is entirely at your own discretion and risk. In no event shall Ettore RIVA Productions, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers and licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, savings or data, replacement costs or other similar damages, whether in contract, tort (even negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising out of your use of the Service or any service or product using the Service, or any other claim relating in any way to your use of the Service or any product, including, but not limited to, errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of the Service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted or otherwise made available through the Service, even if you have been advised of the possibility of such claims.
Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability in those states or jurisdictions will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
