July 14, 2023 - Patrouille de France

Program - July 14, 2023 Parade

There are three new features in this 2023 edition. The first concerns the initial line-up. It will feature several of France's partner countries in the Sahel in recent years. An international orchestra, comprising 80 musicians from France and 13 partner countries including Canada and Germany, will set the tone for the parade until the Patrouille de France takes to the stage.

For the first time, military engineers from the Direction Générale de l'Armement (DGA) will take part in the parade, with a 78-strong detachment. The DGA section will be made up of officers from the armaments corps (armaments engineers, armaments research and technical engineers), armaments commissioners and officers from the armaments gendarmerie.

Finally, the Joinville Battalion, which includes more than 200 top athletes making up the Army of Champions will parade, a year ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
